Matthew W. Goins (Matt)
Matthew W. Goins (Matt) is pleased to be joining Fitts, Olson, Giddings & Ferrara, P.L.C., as the firm's newest associate attorney.
Matt received his bachelor's degree from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, where he graduated with honors. Matt attended the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, where he graduated with honors in 2022. While in law school, Matt interned with both an Ohio Court of Appeals judge and a United States District Court judge, which gave him a broad practical understanding of many areas of the law beyond his law school studies. Prior to graduating from law school, Matt worked for several non-profit entities.
While in law school, Matt focused his studies in law school on the areas of trusts and estates, tax law, and business law. At the firm, his practice will center on tax, estates and trusts, probate, and real estate law. He is excited to join the practice of Fitts, Olson, Giddings & Ferrara, and looks forward to becoming a member of the Brattleboro community.
Matt is a member of the Ohio and Vermont State Bar Associations. In his free time, he enjoys reading, history, hiking, cooking, finance, family, dogs, and the arts.
